https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Srinivasa_Ramanujan
rɑːˈmɑːnʊdʒən/;[1] listen (help·info); 22 December 1887 – 26 April 1920)[2] was an Indian mathematician who lived during the British Rule in India. Though he had almost no formal training in pure mathematics, he made substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, infinite series, and continued fractions, including solutions to mathematical problems then considered to be unsolvable.
Messages From Extraterrestrials?
Ramanujan claimed that a higher being, in this case a Goddess, bestowed upon him the knowledge for his incredible theorems.
As a matter of fact, he said the ”visions” which came to him in dreams had come directly from the Hindu Goddess Namagiri Thayar.
He also suggested that numbers connect us to higher powers in the universe.
What Do You Think?
Do you think Ramanujan actually received his wisdom from a higher being or extraterrestrial?
